Mental Health Peer Support program
The purpose of the Mental Health Peer Support program is to provide a network of support and mentorship to people under the community supervision orders as they seek to improve their mental health, reduce any harms associated with their behaviors, avoid the justice system and recidivism and pursue a good mind. The Mental Health Peer Coordinator assists the client in supports such as finding housing, obtaining employment, medical supports and provides advocacy with probation, parole and other justice system officials as needed.
For more information, please contact the Mental Health Peer Support Worker at bvsp@nechee.org or call (807) 464-1908
